Essex pub prepares to reopen after major £250,000 refurbishment
Local Brentwood pub, The Essex Arms, renowned for its live music nights, reopens after an extensive refurbishment and refit this September.
All Our Bars, a pub company based in the South East, are behind the refurbishment works.
Both the interior and exterior have undergone a complete overhaul. “We have restored this charming pub whilst retaining its lovely features. The bar servery is the original dark oak bar that dates back to when the pub was built,” says Paul Wigham, CEO of All Our Bars. “The Essex Arms is a beautiful building in keeping with our traditional values in our estate of public houses”.
The pub now features brand-new floors and bench seating, along with a modern new back bar and stunning light fittings. The SX Bar, the function room, has been fully restyled, and fitted with a large screen projector for meetings and live sporting events, and an all new sound system has been installed so that The Essex Arms can continue to serve as the town’s go-to venue for live music. The courtyard garden has also been completely revamped, offering a stylish outdoor space perfect for enjoying Brentwood’s warmer days and evenings.
All Our Bars have announced that they plan to reopen and The Essex Arms on the 19th of September.
Paul Wigham said: “We are really proud to own one of the last remaining live music venues in the area. The Essex Arms combines wonderful community with a brilliant music room supporting great performers.”
